The company joined the Group in early 1999. ACCIAIERIE DI SICILIA is a natural reference for the market in southern Italy and the islands. Its strategic position in the centre of the Mediterranean is now exploited for exports, thanks also to significant investments made recently to improve the quality and quantity of production. ACCIAIERIE DI SICILIA is the only steel-mill in Sicily, and is equipped with an electrical arc furnace, a continuous casting machine and a rolling mill, with finishing equipment for the production and packaging of bars and spooled coils for reinforced concrete.
