The support of the Group to Brescia and Bergamo Capitale della Cultura

The festival will be held from April. 22, to June, 16, 2023. It will host many different events organized at Teatro Grande in Brescia and at Teatro Donizzetti in Bergamo, and in some other iconic places of the two cities. The main theme of this edition is the Anti Avant-guard, with a selection of more than 30 composers whose success was not immediately recognized by the contemporary critics.
During the festvial the audience will enjoy music by Rachmaninov, Šostakovič, Prokof’ev, Bernstein, Adams and Rzewski; Nyman Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Silvia Colasanti, Carlo Boccadoro and Nicola Campogrande. Besides the two opening concerts for this edition there are two Special Concerts for the Capitale della Culture, that will take to the two cities hosting the festival the Filarmonic Orchestra of La Scala, directed by Riccarso Chailly and Mao Fujita, as a soloist. The two concerts are scheduled for Saturday, April 22, in Brescia and Thursday, May 4, in Bergamo and will have a charity purpose thanks to the support of the sponsors Alfa Acciai, A2A and SIAD. By buying the ticket, the spectators will help sustain projects of Banco dell’Energia, a charity institution that supports people and families in financial difficulty, with particular regard to the energetic poverty.
Clara Stabiumi, member of the Board of Directors, expresses her satisfaction for the participation of the company in such an important event for the city:
I am happy and proud of the support our Group give to the festival and to the celebration of our city. I am happy because the relationship between the two cities that was born sixty years ago for the sake of music and culture anticipated the acknowledgement of this year. I am also proud of the choice our Group made to support the event, because it fits perfectly within our wider attention to culture and local communities, which is part of the Group DNA.
