Alfa Academy is a project focused on training young people and enabling them to acquire the professional skills necessary for a successful entry into the world of work.
It is the result of a collaboration between ITS Machina Lonati and Alfa Acciai and is aimed at training individuals capable of dealing with the installation and maintenance of steel production and processing equipment.
The apprenticeship course lasts one year, with alternating periods of internal training at Alfa Acciai and external training at ITS Academy Machina Lonati, including practical lessons at external laboratories, and a period of work in the company. Participants are offered a first-level apprenticeship contract.
All this is aimed at providing young people with the opportunity to consolidate their theoretical knowledge and apply it within the Alfa Accciai's processes. At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the technical knowledge and skills in maintenance and plant installation, which are constantly being updated, particularly in terms of innovation and digitalisation, necessary to fill increasingly strategic roles within the company.

The project involves a team of students aged between 15 and 25, resident or domiciled in Lombardy, with a diploma or qualification from a vocational school. At the end of the course, the boys and girls involved have the opportunity to continue their career within Alfa Acciai.
