Alfa Acciai’s Gender Equality Policy
Alfa Acciai’s Gender Equality Policy reaffirms the company’s commitment to pursuing and upholding the values of equity, gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The company has always actively promoted the development of a fair and inclusive working environment, in line with the values and general principles expressed in its Code of Ethics and consistent with the UN 2030 Agenda Goals (Goal 5 “Gender Equality” and Goal 10 “Reduced Inequalities”).
Alfa Acciai’s Gender Equality Policy strengthens and formalizes the cultural and organizational journey the company has already undertaken through a systemic approach aligned with the UNI/PdR 125:2022 guidelines. This approach led to the establishment of the Gender Equality Steering Committee and the implementation of a dedicated Management System.
The Gender Equality Steering Committee acts as a body for guiding, monitoring and evaluating initiatives aimed at promoting equity and inclusion, with the goal of ensuring equal opportunities at every stage of working life at Alfa Acciai.
The Management System includes, in addition to the Gender Equality Policy, a Strategic Plan defining specific objectives to develop and promote these values, as well as procedures dedicated to managing key internal processes in areas such as:
