The training program was developed through the collaboration between Alfa Acciai and ITS Academy Machina Lonati, with the goal of preparing young technicians specialized in the maintenance of steel production and processing plants.

The one-year program combines theoretical and practical training with on-the-job experience. The 12 selected students will alternate between classroom lectures and laboratory activities at ITS Academy Machina Lonati and external labs, along with over 1,000 hours of hands-on training at Alfa Acciai’s facilities. Each participant is offered a first-level apprenticeship contract, which will allow them to obtain the qualification of Technician in the installation and maintenance of industrial plants.

The second edition was officially presented on September 29 in the presence of students, company and academic tutors, as well as institutional representatives and project partners. Regional Councillor for Education, Training, and Employment Simona Tironi, and Vice President for Education and Corporate Culture of Confindustria Brescia Elisa Torchiani, attended the event, highlighting the value of training paths that connect education with the world of work.

Students had the opportunity to grow, learn, and work side by side with experienced professionals, bringing enthusiasm and fresh perspectives. This is why we are proud to launch the second edition, fully aware that fostering talent is a strategic asset for Alfa Acciai and for the local community,” said Vincenzo Sidoti, Human Resources Manager of the Alfa Acciai Group.

At the end of the program, participants will receive a professional diploma certifying the skills they have acquired, providing them with a concrete and immediately valuable tool for their future careers.
